I’ve been in the Finance and Advice space since 2000 and have seen a lot of changes in the industry. There’s a renewed focus on delivering great outcomes for customers, but I’ve been focused on that since the beginning.
My financial planning background ensures that I review your lending requirements as part of a larger picture: what loan structure will deliver the best results, what are your financial goals, which products are most closely aligned with your needs.
We launched this business because we are excited about the direction the broking industry is moving (client centricity) and we feel we can add a lot of value to our clients and referral partners.
I love spending time with my son, cooking and helping friends in their life and also their business pursuits. I work hard to maintain a positive outlook on life and set realistic, manageable goals. I believe this approach appeals to my customers as they know I have their best interests at heart.
MARK GERMYN – SENIOR COMMERCIAL ADVISER
With over 25 years in Commercial Lending Mark has the skill set, experience, and network to be of high value in the current market to nearly all business and commercial clients.
In an environment where lending has become significantly harder and policy is constantly changing Mark has access to a wide range of lenders from the major banks to private funding and equity. More importantly after 20 years working within various banks Mark has a well established reputation and strong personal network at a senior level internally with our panel of lenders.
This network, combined with personal credit experience and skills, is invaluable in giving clients a better insight into the current credit environment. This allows better decision making and ensures we are talking to the right people at the right lender for each individual client. This leads to superior outcomes for our clients in relation to interest rate, terms, security and risk management.
ALEX GASSNER - DISTRIBUTION MANAGER
With a strong focus on Compliance and Paraplanning through his firm ComplyX, Alex brings a reputation and focus to the team in delivering aligned outcomes for our individual and Financial Planning clients.
Alex joins The Loan Group as Manager of Distribution having worked in the financial services space since 2012. He has a wealth of knowledge in back-office business processing, Fintech and has establish offshore operations to support businesses lower their back office costs and reduce their cost to serve. Alex is involved in identifying synergies between our joint venture target market and leading these discussions from initial scope phase to implementation and contracts.
Alex is a keen swimmer and surfer and resides on Sydney Northern Beaches.
MAX CONNLEY - RESIDENTIAL DEBT ADVISER
Max has a background in residential mortgages but with the ethos of The Loan Group, working with clients for their short term needs and long term objective.
His experience in both the Sydney property market and dealing with clients in the Financial Planning space brings a solid knowledge and experience for our clients. This includes specialist knowledge of debt restructuring for tax efficiency and ensuring loan advice is in line with the client’s long and short term financial objectives. Max also has in depth knowledge of house and land package loans including knockdown rebuild projects, off the plan and construction.
